December

What could have happened on that first flight with just a little more of an easterly wind.
During the inaugural flight to Gibraltar from Madrid a gentleman wished to make a peaceful protest and lined the route with a banner. It wasn't vulgar but he didn't agree with the agreement as it stands. Apparently now you cannot display disagreement in Gibratlar as the RGP moved him on before the official motorcade went near him. So this cartoon tells you how bad it could get.
Some of the Ministry of Defence sewerage tanks were being cleaned because of problems... incredibly amongst other things they found a bike in there?
Both These cartoons are about the UEFA 'problem' with allowing Gibraltar to become a member. The one above was published the one below wasn't.

The Integration With Britain Party had their own little tuppence worth over the recent agreements etc. They suggested that the alleged concessions were merely the 'Trojan Horse' at the frontier.
This is one of my favourites. Leader of the Opposition Joe Bossano love or loathe him, is a great character and gives me plenty to draw about. Long may he continue to be a source for me.
This is purely a none published little piece of political comment that in the end no matter who you vote for, the Government always get into power and will be hated. (yes it is satire)

November

Well December is upon us. I do the odd bit of work and offered this to British Forces Radio (BFBS) as their Xmas card this year. Whoever is in charge of procurement didn't get back to me. I have seen this years card from BFBS and biased I am but they made an error.
RAF Gibraltar discussion about private jets and parking on the airfield. I suggested with the right kind of credentials then a private jet could park there whenever they liked. Mmm?
Day before the referendum and this was for the Chronicle but didn't get published. It wasn't my punchline but I liked it.. a bit subtle for some though.
My referendum choice. The way the Chief Minister's been banging on the referendum turned into a political fight rather than a choice for the people.
Iberia Airlines carried out a test landing of the runway prior to the service starting on the 16 Dec from Madrid.
