Messi cheats and Ferdy tweets

"Twitter oh yeah I'm a Twit alright"
Lots of football over the weekend Man Utd v Man City in a rather scrappy semi final that I think in fairness City edged. It's nice to see someone else win even if it was a team bought by some £400 million of investment. I can't in all honesty as a Chelsea fan complain at that can I? Nani as usual diving cheating and being generally a low grade sportsman much like Evra who to be fair should have been suspended if that 'possible' penalty against Chelsea had been seen. Balotelli is still more ego than fight but he is showing signs of the skills that brought him to England. One thing I will say having spoken on what was then Talk Radio many years ago about banning footballers instead of fining them as was de rigeur then; it seems the ban worked in this case. If Rooney hadn't been so 'clever' he would have played and in his current form the win may have gone the other way. For once a player got what he deserved for his abuse and the team suffered as a consequence. How long before managers start saying to them behave or it could cost me my job! I'd like to see clubs also follow what I believe was the Posh route and that is to pay players for productivity, win, bonus, lose, flat rate and lets see you mess around then. As far as the end of the game was concerned what Ferdinand was doing along with the other numpty Anderson I'll never know. As if they're the pc police in the EPL. Whilst Rioferdy5's tweet explained his take on it as far as these idiots are concerned its all about rocks and glass houses if you ask me. What a result for Stoke in the other 'unfashionable' semi final or is the one for the purists? Depends on the POV.  Good to see Davies coming out and doing what most footballers don't unless they are in the llower profile teams and that is give it the hands up we were shit routine. I actually think Stoke have a better chance against Man City too as they seem this season to be less afraid of going at teams, the sort of thing Blackpool used to do which has recently eluded them. Miracles of miracles an 'empate' last night in El Classico it was a good game to watch in my local Bar Torres in San Roque and tho' a Blanco would seem I'm biased I thought they deserved the win. Yes Casillas might have been penalised but the ball was gone and the man was falling long before Casillas got to him. The idiot that is Albiol deserved the red and everyone thought he was an idiot to grab hold like he did even the Spanish hate cheats. A draw tho I suppose was better than losing although Messi is around the papers for kicking the ball or at least trying to kick the ball at the spectators towards the end of the game. As he turned he was smiling but as he was penalised he started to feign shock and innocence what he was thinking we'll never know but I'm sure he knew exactly what he was doing.
